Class Descriptions

Hips and Healing

When we focus a regular asana practice around the hips, it is natural for more profound layers of the body to unfurl, release and eventually heal. You will improve your posture and the circulation between the legs and torso. You will also increase the circulation in the lumbar area and abdomen.  

Gentle (Soothing)

Restorative warm-ups followed by simple poses will be modified for anyone of any age. This class is recommended for seniors, people recuperating from injury or pregnancy, or newcomers. Bring mobility to the joints. Build strength and endurance in an approachable way. Discover the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

Hatha (Flow)

These classes offer a general blend of styes that includes restorative warm-ups, sun salutations, a balance of precision and flowing movement, and a forum to try new things. Hatha is recommended for new students and anyone who is able to get up and down from the floor with relative ease. Benefits include balance, healing the joints, a supple spine, and overall strength and endurance.

Men's Yoga

Weightlifters, rock climbers, workers need flexibility and strength. Stretch and tone your muscles from your neck to your ankles with our vigorous, athletic, and intense workout designed for the not so flexible.

Alignment

Learn to use props to make each pose approachable and precise. Hold poses for a longer duration, creating a deep stretch. Benefits include greater endurance, joint integrity, and a supple spine.
